FAQs

No. You do not need a referral to see a physiotherapist or occupational therapist unless there is a third party involved such as WorkCover or DVA.

You may be eligible for up to 5 Medicare funded treatments; however, there is still a small gap to pay. Medicare will cover some of the costs of individuals with complex or chronic conditions who have been referred by their general practitioner on an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan.

Initial Physiotherapy sessions go for 45 minutes, and follow up sessions are 30 minutes. Longer sessions may be booked for complex treatments, treatments of more than one area, or home visits.

If you have private health cover some of your treatment may be rebatable, however this amount varies from fund to fund. Contact your health fund to find out more about your rebate.

Yes, bring your health fund card and we can claim for you on the day of treatment.  You will then only need to pay the gap.

We are happy to cancel or reschedule your appointment where possible, however please note that we appreciate 24 hours notice if you cancel an appointment. Your consideration helps to prevent other clients missing out.
